Here a quick update about the SWG radio show called "SWGack!".  The first episode air on MMORadio tonight!  7pm on Saturday... 7pm pacific time of course.  Also you can check out the show webpage here.  Anyway, it's our first episode so we'll work out the kinks but it was a blast...

MMO Radio...

Hello everyone!  Yes it is I, Alex.  I know it's been a bit of time between posts here but that's just because I've been soooooooo busy with Diggnation and Revision3 and my other projects and traveling that I just haven't had the time.  But now I want to let you all know about a new project I'm working on.  As most, if not all of you, know I'm a huge Star Wars Galaxies fan.  I play SWG way too much...  Anyway, while I was up in Toronto I met DJ Snowball from MMO Radio (check out my interview at iTunes Podcasts SWGRadio).  Anyway, we had such a fun time that we've been in talks with them to work on a weekly show.  So starting this Saturday, I think, I'll be a weekly contributor to a new Radio show about MMORGPs.  So check out MMORadio.com for more info and keep playing Star Wars Galaxies...

Toronto was GREAT!

Well I'm sitting in the Toronto Airport waiting for my flight to board using the airports free wi-fi.  Why there isn't more free wi-fi in the US I'll never know.  Anyway, I just thought I would post a little note on how the trip went.  First off Toronto is a great city!  It's like NY, Paris, and SF all rolled into one... and clean.  I was only here for a very short time, about two days, but each day was better then the next.  I arrived at like 11pm on Wednesday and immediately checked in to my hotel and hit the entertainment district to meet up with Kevin/Dan/Keith/Amber (Whom I'd never met)/and Daniel (from Digg.com).  We had a few beers and took in the cities night life.  We didn't party too hard knowing full well that the TechTV meet up was the following night.  The next day we got to the meet up at No Regrets at about 2:30pm.  After about 30mins of wi-fi troubleshooting we shot a GREAT episode of Diggnation!  It should be out on Saturday night and it will rock.  After that the flood of people started showing up.  To say the meet up was a blast would be an understatement.  Plus not just the fans it was great to meet some of the people who are doing what Kevin and I are doing with Diggnation.  Jenn from OpenAlpha was there, Frank from TechPhile, DJ Snowball from MMORadio.com.  Not to mention all the TechTV Canada People and of course it was my first time meeting Leo.  It was a great event and I really look forward to the next one...

Well they are boarding my plane so I have to post and fly...  Thanks to everyone who helped make this meet up happen and thanks to everyone who came out and supported great tech content...

Diggnation on ABC News

That's right people we just finished recording Diggnation Episode number 5.  Not only that but a crew from ABC News Feed service was here to capture the whole thing!  They are doing a story on Podcasting and they chose our Podcast to feature in their story.  They taped us recording Diggnation and interviewed us for use in the package.  I'm not sure where it will air so check your local ABC News shows over the next few days to see if they are airing a Podcasting story (We're in it!!!)

Diggnation Video's are Back!

Hey everyone,

So it's been crazy in the last week with Diggnation and Kevin moving to SF.  We could never have imagined how big Diggnation would become.  Because of that, Diggnation Video Episode 3 actually brought down the entire Digg.com website!  We where hosting the files on the Digg.com server because of the bandwidth they have... well it wasn't enough for us!!!  So Kevin has been scrambling trying to get it sorted out.  We have been lucky to have friends in high Internet places.  Anyway, long story slightly longer...  The Diggnation videos you've all grown to love are back baby!  Check them out at Diggnation.com.  Also we are working with Jinx on getting Diggnation shirts and episode 4 for the Podcast is in the can and should be posted in the next few days.  Thanks everyone for all the support and enjoy the show...

Futurama!!!

It was talked about at Comic-Con is San Diego this week that a direct to video DVD movie of Futurama is in the works!  This is great news... this is the way the Family Guy got FOX to re-launch a weekly show.  Check out the IGN article here.  And remember to buy the DVD when released so we can get Futurama back baby!!!
