TSS is DEAD...

Well I've officially been let go... along with a bunch of other people from TSS and three other shows.  Kevin and Sarah are the only ones left on screen and I don't know what they are planning to do with them.  The Screen Savers as you know it is GONE!  We were rounded up today at 11am and told to be out of the office at 3pm... very smooth...  So I wanted to take this time to say, Thank you... thank you to all of you who gave me the chance to enter your living rooms five days a week and try my best to make you smile.  You, the fans of TSS, really made me feel like a million bucks.  I know it was hard for some of you to see Patrick go, but I really appreciate you all giving me a chance.  I just wish I could have more time to get to know you all...

It has been one of the best experiences of my life... Thank you...

This really sucks. I liked Patrick, but I thought you and Kevin made an awesome team and TSS became much more entertaining to watch since you joined the cast. Not only was the show informative, but it was funny as hell.

Alex, You will be missed. Im really glad I had the honor to meet you after the halo 2 show. I cant believe that G4 is being so stupid by letting you go! You were really funny and awesome! players is just watching celebs play video games
arena is just random teams playing video games

Good luck in all future things. Although it took me a while to get used to you I appreciated what you brought to the show. The dynamic between you and Kevin was very good and lively. Keep posting and keep doing what you do. Although I feel bad for both Sarah and Kevin it seems like their the last of what tss was now, and who knows what the future may bring for them if current changes come to fuition. I wish them the best of luck as well as to yoshi, dan and all of the techtv people. It is the reason that we techies enjoy our craft is due to the knowledge that everyone brought on that show. As a fan yourself you saw it, and as a co-host you brought it as well. Thank you for your time on TSS, you will not be forgotten. :-)

Alex, I'll be honest with you. I've never been fond of this whole G4TechTV merger, thing, and when I found that Leo and Pat weren't joining TSS I was angered. When I saw that you joined and after viewing you behaviour at first, I wasn't too fond of you, either.

But....
After a while you've grown on me. I enjoy watching TSS, and, honestly, I schedule my entire day around TSS so I can watch it. To me, you will always be a member of the TSS family, and you will be sorely missed along with the others who have lost their jobs.

I won't forget this day, and I won't forget you. I'll have this as my sig, and I shall wear it proudly as a reminder of this horrible deed that G4 has done:

Dang. I liked you better than Leo. I admit I wasn't a huge of you early on but I changed my tune and now I think you kicked major butt! My family and I have been big fans of TSS for the past year or so and it still remains one of my favorite shows of all time. Out of all the host present and past you are actually one of my top three favorite hosts. You may have been here for a short period but it looks to me like you have quite a few fans which is always cool. I always wanted to wanted to go California and see a show. I was planning on it this summer but I guess I have to scrap that idea. Anyway, good luck with the future and maybe we can see you on television sometime soon.

Just wanted to say you're one of the reasons why I kept watching the Screen Savers after the initial G4 revamp.

I was bummed when I initially heard the news that TechTV was being bought out by G4, but I held out hope when I saw that at least the Screen Savers was continuing on.

Again, I was bummed when Patrick decided not to stay, but I gave the new Screen Savers a fair chance. While it was initially weird to have a new host, you really grew on me, and as I watched the Screen Savers keep talking more and more about gaming, and unfortunately less and less about technology, I kept watching because you brought a special flavor to the show.

Best of luck to you in the future, and I'll definitely be keeping up with what you're working on. I added your blog to my RSS feed since you started at TSS.

G4 doesn't know what they're doing. I've been delaying writing a letter to G4 since the initial changes as I was trying to give everything a fair chance, but I'm going to sit down tonight and express my dissatisfaction of what they have done, both in the past and now with this latest move.

I will no longer be watching their network.

While I was sad to see Patick let go, bring you on the show brought out a different aspect of the show - humor.
